Charoite Crystal Healing Properties:
Charoite can lead you to your path of service to the world and will help you to overcome any resistance to that sacred path and the changes it may require. It helps one separate ones own issues from the issues of others and assists with energetic boundaries. Charoite can assist with personal healing and inner work by helping one to recognize where issues still lie and the most direct route to healing them. When healing others, it allows one to maintain objectivity and be a more effective healer. It allows us to connect with higher frequency energy and guidance while remaining grounded and able to manifest in the physical world.
Charoite History and Uses:
This stone was found in the 1940’s and derives its name from the Russian word “chary” meaning magic or charms. It is only found in the region of the Chara (or Charo) river in eastern Siberia and was not made available to the wider world until 1978. It ranges in colour from pale lilac to deep purple, can have inclusions of calcite and often displays a feather like chatoyancy within the stone. Traditionally Charoite has been used to bring comfort to those who feel isolated or live alone and to give courage to persevere during adversity.
Charoite Geological Description:
Charoite is a complex mineral containing potassium, sodium, calcium, barium, strontium, oxygen, silicon and hydrogen. It forms in dense, fibrous aggregates and has a hardness of 6. Charoite comes from Siberia and is named after the Charo River in that area.
