History and Uses

Throughout history, Tree Agate, also called Moss Agate, has been connected with agriculture and gardening as it is thought to improve the growth of plants. Tribal people used it to communicate with nature spirits and promote earth healing by influencing weather patterns. Traditionally, it has been used to assist midwives and new mothers during birth. Like all Agates, it vibrates at a low steady frequency bringing slow, gentle and deep healing to the root cause of issues.

Geological Description

Agate is a form of banded Chalcedony, a mineral of the quartz group. It has a trigonal crystal structure and a hardness of 7. This variety of agate is not banded so is not strictly an agate in scientific terms. Many of the best specimens come from India.
