Cinnabar Crystal Healing Properties:

Cinnabar is a stone of prosperity, and it teaches us how to manifest energy into physical form. Often used in alchemy and magic to affect the transformation of energy. Cinnabar History and Uses:

Cinnabar, also called Cinnabarite, gets it name from the Persian word meaning ‘Dragons Blood’. It is found as deep red crystals growing with Stilbite which has a very supportive energy, or as tiny red spots included in Quartz. Cinnabar has been named the Merchant Stone because it attracts wealth. It is thought to boost the immune system, and has been traditionally used to heal staph, boils or bacterial infections. Care should be taken when handling Cinnabar because it is a form of mercury ore.

Cinnabar Geological Description:

Cinnabar is a mercury sulphide mineral with a hardness of 2 to 2.5. Its crystal system is trigonal. It forms around volcanic vents and hot springs and may also occur in sedimentary rocks associated with recent volcanic activity.
