Aqua Aura Quartz Crystal Healing Properties

Aqua Aura Quartz, sometimes called Angel Aura Quartz, is a stone of calmness, allowing us to connect with the higher realms. It may help to facilitate channelling and connection with our Angel guides. It is believed to stimulates the throat chakra clearing away emotional imbalances in the aura to allow open communication. It is thought to assist with releasing negative energies from the auric field to bring inner peace and stress relief. It is also believed to prevent energetic drain from parasitic entities and repel psychic attacks.

History and Uses

Aura Quartz is a high vibration stone which has been used since the 1980’s for its believed ability to expand the consciousness and heal the physical and spiritual body. The term Aura refers to the metal coating which has been alchemically bonded onto the surface of a Quartz crystal. This layer is permanent and won’t wash or rub off.

There are many types of Aura Quartz, which vary in colour depending on the combination of metals and crystals used. However, they all display iridescence and a metallic rainbow sheen. Some stones sold as Aura Quartzes can be dyed rather than electrostatically bonded with precious metals. These should be avoided because they don’t have the synergistic properties of the true Aura Quartz and some dyes can cause an allergic reaction. Aqua Aura Quartz is a synthesis of Gold and Clear Quartz and has been used to enhance the healing properties of other crystals.

Aqua Aura Quartz is a Clear Quartz crystal with a hardness of 7 which has been treated in such a way that vaporised or powdered gold is pyroelectrically bonded onto the surface.
